Gavin Brady has been a well-known skipper / helmsman / tactician in the world of professional sailing for 30 years.
He’s had a successful career having experience in all aspects of professional yacht racing. Gavin has competed in six America’s Cups; Two Whitbread / Volvo’s; The 2000 Olympic Games; Grand Prix Circuit; countless match racing events as well as numerous offshore races.
In September 2023 Gavin competed in the US Grand Slam Series making the finals in all four events gaining the last entry into the Bermuda Gold Cup at the recent Oakcliff International.
This is Gavin's fifth visit for the King Edward VII Gold Cup - and is definitely the most seasoned skipper at the event, having first competed in 1997.
