Update: 3:41 PM: Ben Ainslie and his Origin team of Matt Cornwell, Iain Percy and Christian Kamp have won the Argo Group Gold Cup, going 3-1 over Adam Minoprio and his team. Full report to follow shortly.

Update: 3:00 PM: Adam Minoprio stays in the game with a win in match 3, the score is now 2-1 in favour of Ben Ainslie. The fourth match will start in a few moments.

Update: 2:25 PM: Ben Aisnlie has won the second match and is now 2-0 over Minoprio. It's "win the next match or take second place" time for the Kiwis.

Update: 1:37 PM Ben Ainslie has won the first match against Adam Minoprio. The winner is the first to three points... which is not always three matches, should there be point or half point deduction for a collision. Fortunately, none of that today. The second match is about to get underway.

Update: 11:15 AM: Ian Williams and his Team Pindar sponsored by Argo Group team have gone 2-0 over Eric Monnin and his Search.ch team to take third place and $10,000. Monnin and team win $7,000 of the total $100,000 prize pool for the Argo Group Gold Cup.

Update: 10:00 AM Bermuda Time: Under sunny skies, winds are from the west at 10 knots, it promises to be a great day of racing on Hamilton Harbour. First up this morning is the petit final where Ian Willams sails against Eric Monnin for 3rd and 4th places.

At 11:30 we'll have the final race in the Renaissance Reinsurance Junior Gold Cup with an international fleet of Optimist sailors.

Starting midday, the finals of the Argo Group Gold Cup see's Britain's triple Olympic Gold Medallist Ben Ainslie and his Origin team sail against New Zealand's Adam Minoprio and his ETNZ/BlackMatch Racing team for some serious prize money: of the total $100,00 USD prize pool, first place takes $50,000 with second place taking him $20,000.

High pressure will provide moderate winds and slight seas today. A frontal trough will move southward into our area Monday and waver in our vicinity for the next couple days bringing occasional rain, showers and possibly thunder. Another, stronger front will come through on Wednesday.
