Harry started sailing at age thirteen and competed at his first Bermuda Gold Cup in 2019 at the age of 24. This will be Harry’s second Bermuda Gold Cup. Harry is a keen 49er and GC32 sailor. Harry and his team “Down Under Racing” have two GC32s and run training camps at their base in Sydney, Australia. Harry has a slew of impressive top three results in various Youth World Match Racing Championships (2013-2017), winning the event in 2015 and placing 2nd in 2016. He has also most recently won the Butler Cup (2019), the Fiker Cup (2018) and the Governor’s Cup (2018) and came 2nd in the Australian Open Match Racing Championships (2018). Harry and his team finished up at 5th place at their first Match Racing World Championship (2017) which moved Harry up the World Sailing Match Race Rankings, securing him his Tour Card for the 2018 World Match Racing Tour. The Covid pandemic put the breaks on compaigning for many Australia and New Zealand sailors but the event is glad to have Harry and the team back for 2023!
